Steven Pennisi (Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder)
Steven Pennisi is the CEO and co-founder of Capiotech. With more than 15 years experience building EPM solutions his knowledge of trends in the field makes him highly sought after for strategic advice, program governance and solution assurance across large corporate-wide EPM initiatives.
Steven started his career using OLAP technologies at Woolworths before progressing into lead technical and consulting roles at a range of large organisations utilising the Hyperion product suite. In 1999 he formed Capiotech with the vision of providing high quality business information solutions to companies that were struggling with emerging technologies. The company has grown to over 65 people and is a market leader in the EPM space.
Steven has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Computing from the Queensland University of Technology.
Thomas Palmer (Managing Director)
Thomas joined Capiotech in September 2008 as the new Managing Director. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, moved to Australia in July 2005 to take on the role of Managing Director for Hyperion Australia and New Zealand. He continued in this role through the acquisition of Hyperion by Oracle and integrated his team within Oracle as General Manager for Oracle's Enterprise Performance Management/Business Intelligence (EPM/BI) business unit in Australia and New Zealand.
Brendan Leonard (Technical Director - Sydney & Co-Founder)
Brendan Leonard is a co-founder of Capiotech. Brendan has over 15 years experience in implementing analytical applications across a range of industries. Realising the power of the internet back in 1996, Brendan developed one of the first web-based BI applications in Australia, deployed globally.
Since then Brendan has worked in London for UBS Warburg, as well as for numerous blue-chip Australian companies. Nowadays, Brendan applies his knowledge and experience to ensure the success of client projects. His primary functions are project management, technical architectural design, multi-dimensional database design, Quality Assurance and staff development.
Daniel Busfield (Technical Director - Melbourne)
Daniel is a co-owner and manages the Melbourne team. He brings more than 13 years of experience in data warehousing and reporting applications in Financial, Telecommunication and Retail organisations both in Australia and overseas. His experience with system implementations includes custom developments and deployments of packaged applications. Nowadays, Daniel provides solution architecture expertise, project management and project reviews to ensure high quality solution delivery for clients.
William Davey (Account Executive - Southern Region)
In his role as Account Executive - Southern Region, William is responsible for driving Capiotech's business development within Victoria. He previously held the senior role of Director of Enterprise Performance Management for Business Objects, a company acquired by SAP during his tenure.
William has spent his career working in the IT industry focused primarily on Financial Applications. As a Practice Manager for a niche provider of core financial applications, William was involved in the sales and delivery of financial and performance management solutions to multinational companies across North America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
